Enjoy some more fun photos of the Mini Dress Rehearsal… We will have the site updated with photos from the performance later tonight. . . .

The Performance is Over!

Yesterday was a whirlwind of preparation, singing, dancing, talking, laughter, and SO many memories!  The M.C. came up, made the introduction, and 1 hour and 45 minutes of singing was underway!  We culminated 8 months of preparation with 23 songs, done and performed by 24+ amazing actors along with a great crew who ran lights, sound, hair, makeup, props, curtains, ushering, ticketing, etcetra!  It was fun and such a maturation process for all of us.  I enjoyed spending time and building timeless relationships with every one of the people I worked alongside.  We had issues yes, with things not going perfectly, but that makes it an even better opportunity to be humble and to acknowledge that God is in control, and I am not.  Stay tuned for Photos from the performance, and perhaps… maybe… even some clips of the songs! 🙂

New Date!!!

Everybody, our new date for the Musical is February 8!  Join us tonight at 7:00 PM at the Elizabeth Middle School for a fun, entertaining, and heartwarming night for all! 🙂  Doors will be opening around 6:45 for the ushers to seat people.

Mini Dress Rehearsal

We held our first dress rehearsal at our house last Friday… It was a whirlwind of singing, dancing, and nerves as we realized that we were a week away!  This has been amazing watching the children grow in the Lord and see what it is to praise our God in song and dance.  Music is important to our Lord, and therefore it is important to us to praise Him in music.

Psalm 33:2-3 “Praise the Lord with the harp; make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully, and shout for joy.”

Psalm 45:8 “All Your robes are fragrant with myrrh and aloes and cassia; from palaces adorned with ivory and music of the strings makes you glad.”

Psalm 57:7 “My heart is steadfast, O God. My heart is steadfast; I will sing and make music. Awake, my soul! Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise you, O Lord among the nations. I will sing of You among the peoples.

Here are some sneak peeks:

Well, the day for our first dress rehearsal is tomorrow, and we’re busily gathering costumes and props, while trying to stay halfway sane…

We have too much fun with dish towels on our heads.  We’re not in costume, and the winter coat means it was COLD outdoors.
